13JFEB09 - While browsing Sam's Club recently, I was amazed at the price reductions on LCD televisions that has taken place in the past year or so and when I mentioned that to Jennifer, she said it would be great to get the decade plus old, big Sony CRT television out of the armorire in our bedroom. So, we found an especially good price on a 42" LCD and picked up a wall mount at Sam's while we were there. Then, on the way home, we stopped by BestBuy and found a wall mount shelving unit that was perfect for what I had in mind.

The installation took two full days with most of the first day spent pulling (3) coax lines and (2) Ethernet cables from the bedroom to the far end of the attic. This was especially difficult because there is little more than a crawl space above the master bedroom and the tiny area where it joins the main attic had been filled with three large flex ducts for the new air conditioning unit. But, we got the cable pulled, added a receptacle and a A/V connection box behind the TV, installed both wall mount units and today, got everything up and running. This is the only "Before" photo and the images that follow are the "Afters".
