20JUL - After nearly a year, we finally got the backsplash installed. Here you see things as they were at the end of the Project From Hell minus the backsplash and initially, I thought I wanted to do sheet copper. That idea transitioned to sheet stainless and after many hours of measuring and drawing plans not to mention discussing the idea with three different stainless vendors with waterjet fabrication capability, I thought I was ready to have the metal cut.

Then, during a BBQ get together with some friends including our contractor, his better half brought in a sample of metal-jacketed, one inch, glass tile and Jennifer and I both loved it. So, that's what we decided to go with and of course we wanted Tina to do the job. The end result in the following photos shows what a spectacular job she did, too and we couldn't be happier.
