Turns out, the Sawzall made short work of that task and after about 30 minutes of cutting, I was looking at this. Yep, that's a LOT of sand in the bottom of that old tank. I knew it would be there because the sand from the well has been wearing out the Hunter PGP irrigation rotors since Day 1 but I was still surprised at the quantity.
