(Feb 27, 2006) Back in the fall of 2004 during a week when I was at work and Jennifer was in Ohio visiting family, we had a water line feed to a comode split open and flood half the house. Luckily, I came home from work on the day it happened and probably only a few hours after the break. Anyway, all the sheetrock in the flooded sections had to be cut out to allow the dozen or so fans, blowers, and dehumidifiers the insurance company rented to dry out the studs and bottom plate.

This photo is an example of what half the rooms in the house looked like and ultimately the reason for taking the opportunity to do some remodeling rather than simple sheetrock repair.
