16AUG - As of today, I think I have pretty much finished the outdoor shower project. I gave the wood a couple months to dry out in the summer sun and then, over the past two days, sprayed on a couple coats of my homemade wood preservative/stain concoction (thanks, Al). Jen and I were already lamenting not having the outdoor shower even though it had only been two days but now we're back in action.  :-)
