I started out by prepping the nozzle bodies which meant unscrewing the plug from the side inlet, putting it in the bottom inlet, and then screwing in one of the blue fittings to the side inlet. These are six-inch popup bodies but are actually about 10 inches tall and using the side inlet makes it possible to use shallower trenches.

The blue fittings are connected via "Funny Pipe" to the supply with another identical blue elbow fitting. That makes a double slip connection which yields two advantages. One, the body can be placed exactly where it's needed regardless of the actual supply pipe location and secondly, it allows the body to move around easily when driven over by a mower or vehicle and hence, precludes breaking the Class 200 supply pipe.
